Tim Adams has served in church technology for over 25 years, a decade of that as an audiovisual systems integrator. Many times he has found the need for proper security protocols and processes to be developed in order to simply protect audiovisual equipment.

During this time, he has also served as a certified security guard, both paid and volunteer, tasked with maintaining a safe and secure 100+ acre camping and event location through the graveyard hours.

Together with his wife, Ana, Tim has created Active Vigilance, a church and school safety & security arm of Timato Systems with the mission of educating, training and equipping schools and churches with the tools, understanding, knowledge and mindset needed to protect the flock while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Tim serves as a session speaker and event director, having created the Vigilance Conference with his wife to jumpstart dialogue and conversations in local churches and schools towards heightened security and planning for WHEN, not IF, a crisis occurs.
