This was a challenging and fun project-hauling minimal lighting gear to Anchorage, Alaska in January, we did not have a solid lighting plan for the event, but had picked up a couple effect fixtures.  Using only locally sourced materials, we created an "ice wall" using glass blocks and combined the effect fixtures to create an Aurora Borealis type effect on the ceiling.  Only the local audience ever saw the ceiling effect, but it was a special touch just for them.
