Q. Where do I park?
A. The church shares the Maple Grove Elementary School parking lot as the on-site parking lot for the church is quite small. Please park in the parking lot indicated above on the map in GREEN and make the short walk to the event location inside the large white tent, marked in YELLOW

Q. Is there wheelchair access? 
A. Yes, we would advise, if possible, the wheelchair-bound individual be dropped off at the front of the church utilizing the drive-thru driveway before the vehicle gets parked. If that is not an option, there is a sidewalk between the the tent and the parking lot that can be utilized

Q. Will there be food on-site? 
A. Unfortunately, we could not swing that for this inaugural event. However, Battle Ground has many close-by dining options (Wendys, Burger King, McDonalds, Burgerville, Safeway and Albertson's deli, Walmart, MOD Pizza, etc.)

Q. What should I bring? 
A. Definitely a pen and notepad for taking notes, a student mindset, and if you have a safety manual or documentation you have developed for your organization, that could prove helpful during networking opportunities to exchange ideas! The event is inside a large tent and while there will be heaters, you may want to dress in layers to adjust to your comfort level on-site!

Q. I saw that every attendee will get access to a Safety & Security Playbook, what is that?
A. Active Vigilance, the organization who created this Conference, has developed a foundational document churches and schools can use as a starting point for developing their own, customized set of crisis response plans that can be used for training and simulations for your safety and security team. Conference attendees will receive this digital download for free (a $99/value) as a thank you for helping us increase safety in our churches and schools across the region by attending this event!
